Blame!

The best prophet of the future is the past!

We always see others’ behavior caused by their nature, ours by situation. We always like to take credit for success and deny failure.

We also blame others for our situations.

Who's to blame? Honestly, almost nobody is to blame. That's because almost nobody wishes you ill, even if they were curt with you, careless with your possessions or impatient with you in traffic.

Most people are simply doing just what you are doing...trying to get their business done and thinking about the next thing they need to do. They don't really wish you ill, nor do they wish you well. They are just too busy with their own affairs.

Who's to blame? Only the person who wastes his or her energy finding blame.

Profound thot!
But simply put guess we'r the only ones to blame for whatever we go thru..and the day we learn to take onus of our actions..the world will probably be a much better place!

well-written. But I wish we all were as rational in our thinking in situations which demanded such rational beahviors.

I got a kick out of that whole series of faux motivational pics.

On a physiological level we are living ahead of our evolutionary capabilities. Mother Nature surely never envisioned us trying to maintain our sanity surrounded by thousands, hundreds of thousands and certainly not millions of other humans!
The side effects of the stress caused by this HUMAN race is quite evident if you watch the news.

If everybody could take a deep breath and control their emotions like you can this place would be nirvanic.
Keep sending out that vibe...we need to hear it!

"Don't judge others... leave it to the creator..."

When I sometimes start judging people I remember this line... I must say that you are turning into a Dharmik Guru... Well said and written post... Rathna Maata... ;-D

Sudarshan said...

Exactly. There's no point in wasting time blaming something or someone. We can try to find out culprits like this, but it ain't gonna help much. Rather, its best if we realise what went wrong and try to avoid such scenarios/situations..maybe such situations won't occur again!! Blaming won't help at all!

absolutely Anand!

Thats so true....!

White Forest said...

kandykane ...thanks...

Yes, we need lot of tenacity to behave rationally!

I agree with yu so much that i have nothing to say on the relationships part!

nobody cares about relationships anymore...everyone wants to just have fun and not take any responsibility!

but still who is to blame ?

White Forest said...

homo escapeons ...

I am still in the receiving end!

White Forest said...

Denzil...

That was simply to too much to say about me...! :)

but really one neednt be a Dharmik Guru to say that...I am seeing people day in and day out blaming someone for something...! i am just overwhelmed!

"Don't judge others... leave it to the creator..."

absolutely my point...

i want to say "Take it if you want or leave it! but plz stop blaming!"

White Forest said...

Sudarshan ....point made very clear :)

if one has to blame - he has to blame himself

who to blame. I blame the nature for giving man so much to be thoughtful

I blame the Nature to bear the apple

Hey white!
Very well written!
Unfortunately most of us dont realise that only when we can accept out faults and failures can we start learning from them and growing as individuals!

In the IT world there is one game constantly running around and that is the blame game. After all no one is perfect and mistakes tend to happen. And right from the top to the bottom, the game goes on.

Nice words!

very well said! If we find blame in others, they can always do the same./

Keshi said...

blaming is no good..I know as humans we always find a scapegoat for our misfortunes...but care must be taken when doing that, cos the scapegoat may soon become our own selves. Then it doesnt look too good.

Yeah ur right...no one is to blame, especially if it's an accident. But if something was done intentionally, then we have to think...

"""We always see others’ behavior caused by their nature, ours by situation """

This is exactly wats called one of attribution error in human beings.I read this in one of human psychology book.

And yes...i think we do tend to worry what we think other thinks about us...where on reality ppl don have time to think about others.

Nature only beared the apple but it was left to first ppl on earth whether they had to have it or leave it!

White Forest said...

True when it comes to "Let Go" things...one can never hold anything ...even if you dont let go ..it will slip out of your hand..

So why worry? ..if its for you defly that will come to you!
If it doesnt ..it never was!

still i blame the nature. If it had not borne the fruit why this question of debate. Nature to be blamed for every thing.

by the way nature means me , you , and every thing in universe.

I blame eeverything for being as everything.

Rathna, i guess you have not faced real office politics. It is a dog eat dog world and blame game is everything. Some times i get unwillingly dragged into that for my own survival. In addition to that, dont u feel a little better after blaming somebody :-) I do really.

i always believed in that, thats why, I didnt write the name of any person whom I hate, in my Tag, coz I believe, nobody does any harm explictly to you. Its a survival game, and everybody wants to survive.

Nothing constructive is gained by the blame game but sometimes one has to get to the root cause of some problem not necessarily with the intention of blaming

yes.."a new lease to life" ...thats better :)

Everybody probably knows all these things. The difference between a guru (or scientist) and a follower (lay person) is that the guru abstracts from observations a generalizable concept, and is also able to express these ideas well.

Great post Maata
